There should include some distractions such as colouring or fidget toys, there should be some scents to make you feel calmer such as a bottle of lavender essential oils, it should also include things that can help you in a time of need such as an elastic band that you can put on your wrist and snap if need be or a red pen to give yourself the visual aspect of urges instead of physical. You can include things such as crystals and affirmation cards. Maybe some pictures of loved ones and good times could be used to remind yourself of those you care about and that there are good times in this life. Your self-soothe box can contain sour sweets, a hit of the sour sweet such as a toxic waste can bring you back to reality.

Our self soothe box is a wooden box you can decorate the way you want, we provide some stickers, feel free to use them or you can use your own stickers to decorate it, should that be drawing, colouring, painting, or sticking stickers to it, or maybe even a combo of things. Go nuts and have fun doing it, this self soothe box is yours to decorate your way!
Our box contains the following;

1 putty or playdoh tub, this can be used to release stress by stretching it and playing with it in your hands, just remember to put it back in the box at the end of use.
1 tea bag, this is to have a hot drink when you feel uneasy to just sit with your emotions and calm down.
1 roll on essential oil, you roll it on your wrist and smell it, the scent is calm and relaxing to ease your mind.
1 bag of sour sweets, this is try and ground you in the moment/time of need, to bring you back to the present so you can process your emotions, the sour sweet is used to shock you back into reality.
1 worry bear(also called a pocket hug), a worry bear (or a pocket hug as it can also be called) is something you can put all your worries into so its not all on yourself, you can carry it with you wherever you go and it'll keep you company through the tough times.
1 rubber band, this is to put on your wrist and flick in times of need.
1 set of coloured pencils, this is to go with your colouring book, to distract you in times of need and to calm you down
